How do I light my pilot light on my gas logs?

Although there are many Manufactures of gas valves, the means in which they operate are very similar. On page 4 of the document above (click on tab) you will find a Chapter called: Operational Instructions. If after attempting to light your pilot you are still having difficulties, please contact us at: 337-989-1414 and ask for the Fireplace Department. We will be happy to try and assist you over the phone.

Note: If your fireplace uses a remote control, check the batteries in the Transmitter (the device you would hold in your hand) and the Receiver. The Transmitter normally has an indication light on it that lights up when the "On" button is depressed. If the light does not come on...change the battery. The Receiver usually can be found in the fireplace or is sometimes in a cabinet outside the fireplace. If the valve is in the fireplace...look for small wires. These wires will lead to the Receiver. The batteries should be changed every other year and are the main cause for the system to not work properly.
